Event: How To Get a Job in the Tech Industry
Branding consultant Kaitlin Zhang hosted an event titled ‘How to Get a Job in the Tech Industry’ at the London South Bank University on 30th April 2019. At this event, twenty students learned from Kaitlin and two speakers about the UK tech industry and options for careers upon graduation.
Kaitlin shared her top tips for getting a job in the tech industry, alongside her own experiences of working in London’s technology sector since 2013. She also shared a list of organisations and useful websites with more information about career opportunities, and she also taught the participants how to promote themselves online.

Co-founder of Code and Wander
Alessia is the co-founder of Code & Wander, a digital product studio based in London that specialises in design, user experience and web development. After graduating in Design and Innovation, Alessia entered the startup scene by co-founding Choosic, an award-winning music discovery app and gained recognition for her success in the NACUE Varsity Pitch, Get In The Ring and the London Entrepreneurs Challenge as well as getting involved in talks such as the Google DevFest. Since then she’s worked in digital agencies collaborating with top brands and helping startups to launch digital products and experiences to large audiences.
